Hi, I’m Kathy.
A Yorkshire-born, Manchester-based Development Coach and moonlighting Yoga Teacher.
My career started in the fabulous world of theatre, where I spent just shy of a decade performing in Musical Theatre as a singer and dancer – travelling the world, performing to thousands and wearing more Lycra than should be legally acceptable.
Alongside performing, as a self-confessed compulsive learner, I became fascinated by the anatomy of the voice. That curiosity eventually led me to open my own vocal coaching business, working with professional performers, public speakers, business leaders and media personalities on everything from vocal technique to confidence, presenting and public speaking.
Somewhere along the way, my curiosity expanded from how we use our voices to how we use our minds.
I became fascinated by human behaviour, the mind-body connection, coaching and leadership, diving headfirst into the world of personal and professional development through NLP, coaching and the Mind Management work of Professor Steve Peters.
That eventually led me into the corporate world and, for the past decade, I've worked as a Development Coach, creating bespoke programmes, workshops and 1-2-1 coaching for businesses and individuals.
The work has taken me across the globe – from Stockport to Spain, Twickenham to Texas – delivering leadership programmes, management development, public speaking workshops and a whole host of things in between.
It's a career I genuinely love. I get to work with brilliant businesses and passionate, driven and ambitious people, helping them grow, create meaningful change and realise just how much they're capable of.
And then there’s yoga...
Health, fitness and movement have always been a huge part of my life, and I originally came to yoga as a way to unwind and “switch off”.
What I found was something much bigger.
The philosophy, the teachings and the way yoga encourages us to understand ourselves and navigate life a little differently became just as important to me as the physical practice.
For me, yoga isn't about escaping the chaos of everyday life. It's about learning to move through it with a little more awareness, perspective and space.
So, in 2026, I qualified as a yoga teacher and now teach Vinyasa yoga around Stockport, while continuing to develop my own practice through courses, workshops and, inevitably, more compulsive learning.

Off the mat
When I'm not in an office or a yoga studio, you'll probably find me at a country music gig with my husband Liam, walking our two Labradors with my stepdaughter, or spending time with my wonderful family and friends.
Two sides of my world.
Different practices. A shared purpose — helping people feel a little calmer, more confident and more themselves in everyday life.
